I
used to be TOO obsessed with Facebook, and Instagram. I always had an
excuse that I loved taking a photo of food, so I should post my food pictures
to the public. It started being only once in a day, then before having lunch
and dinner, then it became my routine until I sometimes lost relational
etiquette with my family and friends. Finally, once I realized that I
squandered my time on social media for many hours a day, I decided to delete the
Facebook app off my phone. However, every
coin has two sides as is the same with everything that has both advantages and
disadvantages. I found that Social Media impacts my life in a good way as well.
It
keeps me in touch with my friend in Thailand, and it is also a good reminder. Because
I cannot remember my friend’s birthday, so the Birthday reminder is a good fit
for me. Nowadays, when my friends are
going to get married, they will send an invitation via Facebook. All in all,
Technology makes things happen quickly and reduces the gap of communication
between me and my friends.

I changed my life to a healthier lifestyle because of social media. I am following a yoga
master who dedicates herself to practicing yoga and maintains a healthy lifestyle. She influences me to learn yoga and eat healthy food by Facebook. Lastly, it became a part of my internship career. During my past summer internship as a social media intern, I recognized the appropriate time to post advertisement for a company or other things that relate to the company. The best time is in the morning before 9, and either Thursday or Tuesday at 11 am. On the other hand, a bad time is on Friday evening and on the weekend. Why? I guess because people tend to get bored at work on Tuesday and Thursday, and what they do they do..…. FACEBOOK. During the weekend is a bad time because ......it is hard to reach people since they enjoy their weekend. :)
